Tennis Champ Caroline Wozniacki Turns Up the Heat in Petit Saint Vincent in Nothing but Bodypaint

The professional athlete and three-time SI Swimsuit model nailed her 2016 feature.

Three-time SI Swimsuit model Caroline Wozniacki took our breath away with every magnificent brand photoshoot she participated in. The tennis pro, who retired in 2020 and announced her return to the courts last summer, made her debut with the magazine in 2015. She traveled to Captiva, Fla., with Walter Iooss Jr., and returned to the fold the following year. That time, she worked with photographer Frederic Pinet and artist Joanne Gair in Petit Saint Vincent for a stunning and sultry bodypaint feature.

The 33-year-old’s most recent brand feature was in 2017, when she was captured by Emmanuelle Hauguel on the marvelous beaches of Turks and Caicos.

During her sophomore photoshoot, the Denmark native stepped out of her comfort zone and donned a lingerie-inspired painted-on red lace one-piece modeled off of a swimsuit created by For Love and Lemons.

“I am sooooo excited about being back in this year’s SI Swimsuit! We always have a blast on set and I love how the magazine promotes different body shapes and sizes,” the former World No. 1 gushed at the time. “I am really proud to be in the issue again this year. I got a lot of positive reactions, some people didn't even realize it was body paint. It was a great experience and I love how the pictures turned out.”

Today, Wozniacki and her husband, David Lee, are parents to daughter Olivia and son James. Back on the court, she lost to Elina Svitolina during the first match of the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand on Jan. 1. The 2018 women’s singles Australian Open champion is set to appear in the 2024 tournament beginning on Jan. 14 after being given a wild card entry.
