Brooks Nader’s Ultimate Summer Guide to the Hamptons

The SI Swimsuit model reveals her go-to spots at this popular vacation destination.

As an SI Swimsuit model, it makes sense that Brooks Nader loves the beach. But when it comes to her favorite spot to soak up the sun, the 2019 SI Swim Search winner always heads to the Hamptons. Once summer rolls around, the New Orleans native tries to frequent the ritzy beach enclave as much as possible with her husband, Billy. We chatted with the 24-year-old to find out her top Hampton’s hot spots.

Where to Eat and Drink

With so many options available in the area, it’s hard for Nader to narrow down her favorite spots to dine. But there are a few eateries that stand out to the model. “I love Duryea’s Lobster Deck in Montauk for a south-of-France vibe, great lobster rolls, seafood and sunsets,” she says. “Le Bilboquet in Sag Harbor is amazing for dinner, too. You can walk around town before and grab a pre-dinner cocktail at The American Hotel. Then there’s always Moby’s in East Hampton for a fun outdoor environment with fire pits and great pasta and cocktails. But if you want a more ‘divey’ but epic night go to Inlet Seafood in Montauk for incredible sushi and sunsets, then hit Liar’s Saloon for a late-night drink.”

Where to Shop

The Hamptons is known for its plethora of designer shops and local boutiques. Nader enjoys frequenting three spots in particular for her summer duds: Intermix (multiple locations in the Hamptons), LoveShackFancy in Sag Harbor, and James Perse in East Hampton. The first is known for providing a mix of high-end brands, while LoveShackFancy is perfect for those bohemian, vintage-inspired sundresses. Then James Perse takes care of all your sophisticated basics.

Where to Stay

One of the best parts about the Hamptons is the array of boutique hotels available for an overnight. Each one has its own vibe from the wellness-focused Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill to the 15-room cottage-style The Roundtree in Amagansett. And while Nader herself now opts to stay in a private home, she recommends Hero Beach Club and beachfront Gurney’s, both in Montauk.

Where to Party

Oh, those summer nights (and days)! “For the perfect beach day, head to Hero Beach Club and get to-go margaritas from TT's Montauk,” says Nader. “Those pre-beach margs and guacamole are literally staples for me, and it’s not super well known. Plus, for great concerts and performances, Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett is the best spot.”
