If fashion month has anything to say about it, oversized businesswear is back. Between suit-inspired vest tops and the prevalence of tweed, we’re convinced that business chic is the style to join this fall and winter. If you’re not convinced, look no further than Brazilian model Izabel Goulart.

The model stepped out for an afternoon in the city wearing an intentionally baggy, oversized pair of gray pleated trousers and a matching shoulder-padded blazer, featuring a cinched detailing in the back—the perfect touch of glam for an otherwise buttoned-up and simple set. She left the coat unbuttoned, wearing only a matching ribbed gray bralette underneath. The 38-year-old elevated the look with a pair of metallic heels and a sparkly black handbag.

“This SUITS me 🩶,” she captioned the carousel that she posted featuring the fit. With a stylish black pair of sunglasses, the model really rounded out the look, making what was once simply office attire high fashion fit for a model such as herself.

Suits are the perfect simple pieces fit to be dressed up and down for any occasion. Goulart is proving they can be the best elevated street style, but other models this fall have shown that it can double as high class evening wear as well. New York and Paris Fashion Weeks were a lesson in high fashion, and the lesson proved that the newest trend to take a cue from is business chic.
