Returning to the SI Swimsuit Issue for her seventh year with the publication, Hailey Clauson posed for this year’s magazine in the Dominican Republic with James Macari. The model and photographer previously worked together in Turks and Caicos in 2016, the year Clauson landed the cover of the publication.

The 28-year-old, who has collaborated with notable brands such as Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and Versace, recently has expanded her portfolio of work. She’s now the co-owner and creative director of Margaux the Agency, a boutique agency based in Los Angeles.

While on location in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, Clauson’s styling was inspired by the popular Barbiecore trend. She sported hot pink and purple swimsuits, as well as classic silhouettes and prints. In one of our favorite looks, Clauson modeled a black-and-white gingham print bikini that’s both classic and classy. Shop it—and similar styles—below.
