Many of us have little black dresses galore in our closets, but what about a little pink dress? Actress Zooey Deschanel recently made a case for the LPD, and we must say, the aesthetic fits the (500) Days of Summer star to a T.

The 43-year-old actress showed off her bright ensemble by French fashion house Patou on Instagram on Nov. 27, while simultaneously flaunting her super toned legs. Deschanel’s mini frock featured a belt that cinched her tiny waist, and she committed to the color scheme by accessorizing with a pair of pointed-toe platform pumps in a similar bubblegum hue. She posed next to a staircase to show off her outfit in two of the carousel slides, while the final one featured a close-up of the designer label.

For glam, Deschanel styled her signature dark locks in subtle waves, while her eyebrow-skimming fringe drew attention to her blue eyes. The mom of two opted for her go-to winged liner, blush and a glossy pink lip to pull the entire look together.

Plenty of the Elf star’s 7.7 million followers were taken with her “LPD (Little Pink Dress) 🩷,” as she noted in her caption.

“Leggggs 😍,” TV personality Asa Soltan Rahmati gushed.

“the cutest,” skincare entrepreneur Josh Rosebrook added.

“We 💞 you,” the designer’s official IG account stated.

“CUTE 😍,” voice coach Amy Chapman cheered.

“That girl ‘jessss’👏👏,” someone else noted of the resemblance to Deschanel’s character, Jessica Day, from the hit sitcom New Girl.
