Katrina Scott made history with her sophomore SI Swimsuit feature in 2022. The Swim Search open casting call alum, who was named Rookie of the Year in ’21, was photographed by Derek Kettela in St. Croix and became the first visibly pregnant woman to be featured in the magazine.

The Live Beautifully online community founder has previously opened up about her experience with IVF and how her second pregnancy and labor were difficult.

“It’s so crazy because I feel like I’ve been on my fertility journey while being part of the Sports Illustrated family. They have been there for me through all the ups and downs,” she recalled about what her historic feature meant. “When I first had a miscarriage, the whole team at SI sent the most beautiful arrangement and checked in on me. Then when I walked the runway, I was doing my IVF treatments. And then I was asked to be back in the publication, but pregnant. This is really an SI Swimsuit baby!”

The fitness instructor, YouTuber and Tone It Up founder was captured by Yu Tsai in Tampa, Fla. for her debut. She shares her two daughters, Colette and Bella with husband Brian. Scott is also the creator and designer of KSL the Label.

Below are five of our favorite photos from her SI Swim shoot in St. Croix last year.
