TikTok star Olivia Ponton has been a part of the SI Swimsuit family for two years now. She got her start in 2022, getting the call up to join the crew and photographer James Macari for a rookie photoshoot in Montenegro, a coastal country in the Balkans region. She took to the cobbled streets and posed in front of stone buildings and beautiful blue waters of the idyllic nation.

Ponton began gaining internet acclaim in 2020, amassing fans to her TikTok page, which now boasts 7.8 million followers. The 21-year-old was ecstatic to get the call from SI Swimsuit just two years later. “To finally be a rookie for me, to be a part of such a group with such empowering women [is] so beautiful,” she remarked while on set last year. It was an experience and a family that Ponton was “so excited to be a part of,” she said.

For Ponton, the photoshoot was “a dream,” and she was “so thankful” for the opportunity. Little did she know at the time, the dream would continue the following year when she had the opportunity to follow up her first feature with a second in Dominica. She joined photographer Amanda Pratt for her second consecutive feature in the annual issue this yaer.
