After her rookie year in ’22, Olivia Ponton makes a splashy return to the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. The TikTok star and LGBTQ+ advocate posed for photographer Amanda Pratt in Dominica for this year’s magazine.

“The most meaningful DM or comment someone could say to me is that I inspire them, or that I motivate them to work out or pursue their dream, because I was in that position” Ponton told SI Swimsuit of her aspirations as a role model. “When young girls see me in the magazine, I hope that they see a human being to look up to that is part of the LGBTQ community.”

Ponton, who identifies as pansexual, creates a safe space through her platforms on TikTok and Instagram, where she regularly shares candid lifestyle content. Her openness about everything from her identity to her prior eating disorder has endeared her to more than 11 million social media followers.

The 20-year-old had an incredible time on location in Dominica for her sophomore photo shoot with SI Swimsuit.

“The day I just wrapped was basically every emotion that you can possible feel in the human body,” she exclaimed at the time.
