WNBA All-Star Angel Reese Took Our Breath Away in These SI Swimsuit Photos
WNBA All-Star weekend is upon us, and league rookie Angel Reese is making the most of her debut. The 2024 No. 7 WNBA Draft pick traveled to Phoenix, Ariz., on July 18 to prepare for the weekend’s events, which culminated in the All-Star game, a matchup between the All-Star team and the U.S. Women’s National Team, on July 19.
Joined by veterans like Nneka Ogwumike and fellow rookie Caitlin Clark, the 22-year-old Chicago Sky forward made her first All-Star appearance (of many, hopefully). The accomplishment is only the latest in a series of big-time résumé bullets for Reese. Earlier this season, the rookie recorded 15 consecutive double-doubles, the longest streak of any WNBA player in league history.
Now, the Maryland native is at the forefront of the discussion for WNBA Rookie of the Year honors. Needless to say, she has already accomplished, in part, what she promised to do when she was drafted: become “a trailblazer” and “be a part of history.”
Her recent accomplishments on the court are reminding us of some of her other off-court achievements over the past few years. Top of the list (in our books at least) is her 2023 SI Swimsuit feature. Last year, the athlete traveled to Los Angeles, where she posed for photographer Yu Tsai in brilliant jewel-colored swimwear for her first photo shoot with the brand.
It was one that we won’t forget anytime soon, and for good reason: Reese was absolutely radiant. Here are a few of the stunning photos from the trip.
