Angel Reese was photographed by Yu Tsai in Los Angeles for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Reese, also known as the Bayou Barbie, is having an incredible year. The junior forward helped lead the LSU Tigers to the school’s first NCAA women’s basketball championship in April, where she was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. It’s no wonder top brands like Coach and McDonald’s have signed name, image and likeness (NIL) partnerships with the college athlete., Reese is a prime example of what it means to excel both on and off the court.

Reese’s looks on set were styled to be playful, energetic, strong and confident all at once. The SI Swimsuit team drew inspiration from the location of the photo shoot itself, which took place at an art deco-style house with rich colors and distinctive geometric details. Reese wore swimsuits in bold hues with textured details in order to highlight the bold energy of the location and the model herself.
