Alana Blanchard Takes Idyllic Winter Living in Hawai’i in Chic Black Strappy One-Piece

Having built a career around her passion for surfing and spending time on the waves, it’s no surprise to us that Alana Blanchard leads an inspired lifestyle year-round. No matter the season, she can be found on her board and in the water—either taking time for a solo surf session or spending the afternoon with her two young children, teaching them how to surf just like her.

It’s an idyllic lifestyle, that’s for sure. You could say the pro surfer basically lives in a bathing suit—and that’s not far from the truth. She seemingly spends much of her time in one and in the ocean.

Her latest Instagram video, which—much like her others—gives followers just a taste of her active and tropical lifestyle, depicted what seems to be a pretty standard day in her life: hiking around her native Hawai’i, spending time on the sand and in the ocean with her sons, and taking on the waves in her backless black one-piece.

“You are rad and very inspiring. Keep up the good work,” one fan commented on her recent Instagram reel.

“Great surfing,” another complimented her impressive skill.

“Love this video!!!” one exclaimed.

Blanchard’s island life appeals to us all year long—who wouldn’t want to live in such a naturally beautiful location and spend most of their time at the beach? But it’s particularly dreamy right about now, at the beginning of February. Though we won’t be moving to the tropical locale anytime soon, we will certainly be dreaming of it.
