Cindy Kimberly’s Most Wonderful String Bikini Looks From Barbados

As a rookie in the 2022 SI Swimsuit Issue, model and influencer Cindy Kimberly traveled to Barbados, where she posed for photographer Ben Watts. 

The styling for the Caribbean photo shoot was inspired by casual, preppy dressing, so the 25-year-old modeled a number of tiny bikinis in bright colors and vibrant prints. A native of Amsterdam, Kimberly first rose to fame in 2015 when singer Justin Bieber posted her photograph to Instagram.

Since then, she’s embarked upon a modeling career and in addition to SI Swimsuit has worked with publications like Maxim, Cosmopolitan España, Cosmopolitan España and others. In addition to her work in front of the camera, Kimberly is a talented designer and actress. She launched her clothing brand, LOBA by Cindy Kimberly, exclusively with Revolve last May.

The model and influencer also uses her platform to be candid about her struggles with mental health in the hopes of helping others.

“Mental health problems can feel very isolating,” she stated at the time of her SI Swimsuit feature. “I know for a fact that when I am having an episode, it really feels like it’s just me that's feeling that way—like I’m either broken or unlike the people around me. So I try to be open about it because I hope someone out there might identify with it and realize they’re not alone.”
