Duckie Thot Modeled Beautiful Denim Bikinis in Puerto Rico

The two-time SI Swimsuit star was photographed in the Caribbean for the 2023 issue.

While her rookie SI Swimsuit feature took place in Montenegro for the 2022 issue, Duckie Thot made a triumphant return to the fold last May. The South Sudanese-Australian model traveled to Puerto Rico for her second consecutive feature in the magazine, where she posed in front of photographer Derek Kettela’s lens.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, Thot is known for her collaborations with Yeezy, Victoria’s Secret, Valentino and Fenty Beauty. She was also featured on the 2013 season of Australia’s Next Top Model. 

Thot is passionate about using her platform to advocate for diversity and inclusion within the fashion industry. And the year of her SI Swimsuit debut, Thot reminded other women to follow their personal aspirations, no matter what.

“Don’t shy away from your dreams and aspirations; chase them!” she said. “The journey is not always going to be a straight path or easy. There will be many highs and many lows, but do not underestimate what being your own biggest supporter and advocate can achieve. No matter your dreams and goals, life will always be full of surprises; do yourself a favor and be encouraged by the challenges.”

Last year, the styling on location for Thot’s sophomore brand photo shoot was inspired by denim, so the 28-year-old donned several blue jean bikinis while on location. Below, check out just a few of our favorite denim two-pieces from Thot’s SI Swimsuit feature in Puerto Rico.
