LSU Athletes Angel Reese, Olivia Dunne Serve Stunning Looks at SI Swimsuit’s Launch Party

The NCAA athletes represented their school and celebrated their features with the magazine.

Angel Reese and Olivia Dunne have several things in common: they are both incredible NCAA athletes who are rightfully taking advantage of name, image and likeness rules. Additionally, they both have LSU Tiger pride, each made a marvelous impression in the 2023 SI Swimsuit issue and both women looked absolutely fabulous at Thursday night’s magazine launch party. The event took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City and included a formal red carpet and private party inside.

Dunne, 20, wore a gorgeous black lace dress featuring a thigh-high slit, a sweetheart neckline, floral mesh embroidery and thin straps by Peaches Boutique. In an interview on the red carpet, she adorably revealed that her mom picked out the gown.

The gymnast, who is the highest-paid female college athlete in the country, said she basically manifested her feature with the magazine by adding it to her vision board last year. She was photographed by Ben Watts in Puerto Rico.

Reese, who was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, wore a gorgeous ruby red Fashion Nova gown featuring asymmetrical sleeves and an ab- and under boob-baring cut-out. The Baltimore native was styled by Maddie Alexandria, who paired the look with a YSL clutch and sleek, strappy black Dior heels.

Reese, 21, told SI Swimsuit during a red carpet interview that she felt super confident during her photo shoot with Yu Tsai in Los Angeles. She was proud to be able to change the standard and embrace her athlete body.
