Mady Dewey Reveals Her Favorite Look From Her SI Swim Photoshoot
Every swimwear look in each SI Swimsuit photoshoot is carefully curated by the fashion team with input from our talented models. And though each beachside outfit is fabulous, we are bound to have a few favorites—and so are our models.
After each year, we love checking in with talent to see which look from their photoshoot was their favorite. As it turns out, our models are often curious about their peers’ most loved looks as well. During a question and answer series featuring Lauren Chan and Mady Dewey, Chan took the opportunity to ask Dewey which swimwear look she liked the most from her trip to Puerto Rico.
“You had good ones,” Chan remarked during their Miami Swim Week chat at the W South Beach. “You had crochet and 70s [looks],” the Canadian model said of Dewey’s 1970s surfing-inspired trip.
The Socially Well podcast cohost lit up thinking back to the epic tropical photoshoot in the top Caribbean surfing destination. “The ’70s [theme] was so fun, especially because I grew up in Southern California surfing,” she said of her second feature in the Swim issue.
While Dewey loved all of the themed and expertly curated pieces, her favorite was clear. “The burnt orange Monica Hansen—the one I wore on the chair—[was] comfy, sexy,” she told Chan. “It was everything I love in a bikini.”
