Maye Musk’s 6 Best and Brightest Swimsuits in Belize

The model and mom landed one of last year’s SI Swimsuit Issue covers after a gorgeous feature in Central America.

When Maye Musk posed for last year’s SI Swimsuit Issue, she became the brand’s oldest cover model in history at 74. While Martha Stewart took that title with the publication of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue (she was 81 at the time), we’re still blown away by Musk’s spread in Belize.

While on location with the SI Swimsuit team in the Central American country, Musk rocked several bold and beautiful swimwear looks, from one-pieces paired with flowy cover-ups to high-waisted bikinis.

A dietitian, model and proud mom of three, Musk got her start in the industry more than 50 years ago and was a finalist in the 1969 Miss South Africa beauty competition. The 75-year-old has recently collaborated with notable brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Philipp Plein, and landed covers on publications such as Harper’s Bazaar Bulgaria and InStyle Greece.

“I’m very excited that they’ve decided that even older women can wear swimsuits and look great,” Musk stated of her magazine cover girl moment last year. “I think they’re going to give a lot of hope and inspire many young women to know that you can wear a swimsuit and look great at any age. Women around the world are going to be so excited, I think it’s really going to change how women feel when they walk out in their swimsuit.”
