Nicole Williams English Shares New BTS Footage of Epic SI Swim Photo Captured in Dominica

The 2023 rookie reflected on her magazine feature on Instagram.

Nicole Williams English, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit issue, is reminiscing about her trip to Dominica. The new mom, who posed for the publication while seven months pregnant, shared some behind-the-scenes footage from her photoshoot in the Caribbean on Instagram on Tuesday.

Williams English’s ethereal, mermaid-inspired feature included natural materials and earthy tones with organic texture. Her post included a final image, captured by Yu Tsai, along with a video featuring the making of the photo. In the snap, Williams English wore a swimsuit by DU CIEL and a net dress with small pearl details by Ezili Swim. She sprawled out in the sand and leaned back on a mossy rock behind her.

“The making of Mother Mermaid 🧜🏼‍♀️,” she wrote in her caption. “Wanna see more bts of my @si_swimsuit shoot in Dominica??”

A video clip followed the still image that showed Williams English at work as Yu Tsai snapped her photos. She held one hand to her chest and continued to pose as the camera rolled.

“Wow😍,” 2023 SI Swimsuit cover girl Brooks Nader wrote in the comments section.

“Stunning mama 🤍,” added fellow model and mom Katrina Scott. The Tone It Up co-founder was the first visibly pregnant woman to pose for the annual publication when she was photographed by Derek Kettela in St. Croix last year.

“So good,” noted Swim Search finalist Sharina Gutierrez.

Williams English revealed on the Miami Swim Week runway last year that she and her husband, former NFL player Larry English, were expecting a baby. After posing for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue while pregnant, the Nia Lynn founder walked the Miami Swim Week runway in July with her baby girl, India Moon, in her arms.
