We’re Feeling Nostalgic for Christen Harper’s 2022 SI Swim Feature With This BTS Footage

The three-time brand star shared some throwback content to last year’s photoshoot in Barbados.

We’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite of Christen Harper’s three SI Swimsuit photoshoots over the past handful of years, but her 2022 feature in Barbados was certainly one to remember. After all, the photographs captured by Ben Watts earned her co-Rookie of the Year honors alongside fellow model and friend Katie Austin.

When we noticed that the 30-year-old shared an Instagram throwback to last year’s photoshoot on Oct. 5, we figured it was time for a trip down memory lane. The behind the scenes footage captured Harper on the beach in the Caribbean country in a number of stunning swimwear looks.

She flipped her hair over her shoulder while in a black bikini with colorful stripes, before the vintage-style video transitioned to Harper doing a shimmy in a yellow striped bikini top and red bottoms. She sprawled out on a surfboard in a pink two-piece in the next clip, which then cut to Harper running through the waves with her hands in her hair.

Harper was also spotted wearing a green-and-blue checkered bikini and a string two-piece paired with a bucket hat. The entire video was appropriately set to “California Girls” by The Beach Boys.

Many of the model’s 502,000 Instagram followers chimed in to the comments section, as did fellow SI Swimsuit models.

“👏👏👏,” LSU gymnast and 2023 SI Swimsuit star Olivia Dunne wrote.

“love love love,” influencer and magazine rookie Sixtine added.

“My angelllll can we do a tropical vacay soon 🔥,” friend Elizabeth Turner pleaded.

“Just a cute girl on a beach 😍,” someone else noted.
