Dove Cameron Leaves Fans Speechless While Sporting Chainmail Bikini Top in New Selfies

The actress and singer just set a new standard for bathroom mirror selfie-takers everywhere.

Dove Cameron isn’t afraid to be a little “Too Much.”

The 29-year-old actress and singer who rose to fame on the popular Disney Channel sitcom Liv and Maddie before starring in their smash hit Descendants franchise has been busy as of late, taking to social media to promote her upcoming sophomore album. Earlier this month, she stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for her first-ever live performance of her new single “Too Much,” and she also headlined a live-streamed, shoppable concert event titled Everything Must Go, where she debuted some of her upcoming new music.

Still, her over 47 million Instagram followers were simply not ready for Cameron to take to the platform this week in a look so jaw-dropping, it left most fans speechless.

Sporting nothing but a semi-sheer, chainmail-style metal bikini top and matching geometric silver earrings, Cameron positively shined in the photos, setting a new standard for bathroom mirror selfie-takers everywhere. The overall ensemble was so good, in fact, Cameron posted it three times in one photo set with the third snapshot revealing that, even blurry, it’s an undeniably great fashion moment—a look so nice, she posted it thrice.

Given the sparseness of the outfit, the actress’s hair and makeup truly shined. Her long, dark-blonde-teetering-on-the-edge-of-brunette locks were straightened and parted down the middle for a powerful ‘70s hairstyle that would even make Cher proud. Her makeup was out of this world futuristic, showcasing a graphic black eyeliner design sitting on top of an otherwise neutral and gray eyeshadow before being finished off with expertly-placed jewels. Her glossy two-toned nude lip was the ideal sign-off for the sultry selfies, creating the perfect pout.

Speaking to InStyle back in March about her upcoming album and how it compares to her debut from 2023, Alchemical: Volume 1, Cameron said, “My first album was more of an EP. It was always meant to be a two-part album [...] With this new album, it felt like I was finally living my life for the first time since I was a child. This record is a much larger representation of who I am as a person.”

And you better believe Cameron’s loyal fans were quick to share their love for this unique look, as well as their excitement for her upcoming music release:
