A rookie in the newly released 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, Sixtine posed for photographer Yu Tsai in Dominica on her 25th birthday. As if that accomplishment wasn’t impressive enough on its own, the body neutrality influencer continues to check items off her bucket list with today’s release of her collaboration with sustainable swimwear brand Londre.

“They make all of their swimsuits out of recycled plastic water bottles and they go up to a [size] 5XL. So I’m really excited to work with a brand that’s not only sustainable, but also size-inclusive,” Sixtine tells SI Swimsuit of the partnership. “That’s really hard to find with swimsuits.”

The collection includes bikinis, one-pieces and cover-ups in Londre’s signature silhouettes and a gorgeously flattering baby blue hue, as well as a one-of-a-kind pattern.

“Most of [the line is] this beautiful light blue color, but we have a couple [items] in a print and we collabed with Camille Hunt, an artist that does body paintings,” Sixtine shares. “She’s really all about women and [the human] body, that kind of thing. So they took a bunch of her paintings and put it together in a collage for the print... We have a sarong and a dress that have the mesh print that are gonna be really nice with the blue.”

In addition to collaborating with a company that’s not only size-inclusive and environmentally friendly, Sixtine says she was drawn to working with the brand’s team of women. “Everyone that has worked on this project has been a woman and I’m really happy about that,” she shares.

In fact, Sixtine applauded Hunt in an Instagram story “for making my swimsuit dreams come to life with the most beautiful print.” She then called the artist inspiring for “the way you bring such magic to your art, to the women’s bodies you paint, and to all of us who are lucky enough to know you.”

It’s no surprise then that the model and influencer’s favorite piece from the collection is The Airy Mesh Dress - Heavenly Bodies ($149). The art, which is also featured on a triangle bikini top ($86), drawstring bottom ($91) and mesh sarong ($72), is a Hunt original and is comprised of sketches of several model’s bodies, including Sixtine’s.

“The mesh dress, it’s short but really pretty [and the] sleeves have this flowy feel to it,” Sixtine says of the multi-purpose piece. “That’s in the print, so I’m really excited about that, and it’s a cute cover-up but also dress.”

The SI Swimsuit rookie is no stranger to finding the best-fitting swimwear possible. Her swimsuit series on TikTok, in which the model purchased options from different brands and talked through the pros and cons of each for her followers, quickly went viral in March 2021. She’s currently making her way through part two of the series in her quest to find the perfect midsize option on the video-based platform.
