Sure, Alex Morgan is usually in a soccer uniform. But she has a way of making the most of the moments when she’s not. There’s no denying that the Olympic athlete has great style.

With the last month of 2023 almost upon us, we’ve been taking time to reflect on some of the very best looks we’ve seen from the professional soccer player throughout the past year. While it was hard to choose from her many fashionable moments, we’ve managed to narrow our favorites down to a manageable number.

Without further ado, here are Morgan’s best ’fits from the past year.

Pretty in blue

We think this one speaks for itself. A bright blue plunging mini? Yes, of course. A vibrant multi-colored fur coat? Only Morgan could pull it off—and she did.

All business, all the time

The lead-up to a USWNT game deserves a show of good style, and Morgan more than delivered with this pre-game uniform. Her silky, patterned navy suit proved what we already knew: Morgan means business on the pitch.

On duty

This wouldn’t be a post about Morgan if it didn’t include a snap of her in uniform. Thankfully, her 2023 FIFA World Cup kit was ultra-cool and deserved a highlight, anyway.

A high-class family affair

So this is adorable, and not only because of the outfit. A moment with the fam is always one to be lauded, but this one is made just that much better by the athlete’s deep teal set. A silk skirt and a turtleneck in the same shade? Talk about glamorous monochromatic dressing.

A tropical occasion 

O.K., another one. You may think it’s too much, but we just couldn’t get enough of the fashionable family photos. If her sweet fam didn’t make enough of a case for including this one, then her light blue flouncy dress certainly did.

Mocha dreams

Simple, effortless, chic. Though not originally a fall ’fit, it may as well have been with its cream and tan tones.

A moment for silk

The vibrant color-blocked dress of our dreams. With Morgan’s pair of silver metallic shoes, we just might never recover from this look.

Kickin’ it

Morgan knows you can never go wrong with a pair of Js. In fact, she proved it with this simple, casual pre-game outfit, made complete with her San Diego Wave FC-themed high-tops.

Barbie before the return

After seeing this outfit from the Best FIFA Football Awards in February (long before the Barbie film came out in theaters), we’re not convinced that Morgan isn’t a true doll. Either way, the soccer star did her best impression and totally nailed it.

The return of cowgirl casual

Denim-on-denim is back. The soccer pro saw to it in this fabulous set, which she paired with a simple black bralette.

Sporty chic

What can we say? It’s one of our favorite casual street styles, and Morgan nailed it. Fashion forward, but make it Nike.
