We at SI Swim think it’s fair to assert that everyone loves a good vintage piece. Vintage shopping has come back in vogue in recent years as the biggest fashion icons—the celebrities and influencers we all know and love—reach more regularly for well-loved, pre-owned pieces.

The revolution has had several facets—the ever-cyclical nature of fashion trends and a desire to shop more sustainably among them. Clothing, shoes, bags from ages past are coming back into style (as tends to happen in the fashion realm).

SI Swim model Brooks Nader, for one, is embracing the prospect of giving old treasures new life. She made as much known in a recent TikTok video featuring a fiery red new number that she recently found while digging for vintage finds.

Her pick—and a good one at that—was a bright red mini dress with puff sleeves and a corseted waist from the luxury brand Bottega Veneta. As the stylish fashion model she is, Nader paired the mini with matching red tights.

“Dying for this vintage Bottega dress I found! #bottegaveneta ❤️,” she captioned the cute video she shared to her account.

“It’s gorg!!🤩 And you look fab!✨❤️,” one follower gushed of the incredible look.

“Fab 😋,” another wrote.

We know there’s a tendency to gravitate toward black, brown and gray in the winter. But Nader is proving that doesn’t have to be the case. Go to your favorite vintage shop and find a bright red mini for your next night out.
