Left on Friday Brings the Heat to Miami Swim Week

The premium active swimwear brand was present on the runway, led a water workout and provided gifts to talent.

Whenever we’re in the market for a new swimsuit (always!), Left on Friday is one of the first brands to come to mind. The company’s high-quality offerings are crafted with Smoothing Dream Fabric™ that truly feels like butter on your skin. And as for fit, the bikinis and one-pieces are made for active lifestyles. The straps are designed to stay in place on your body without digging in so you can move about with ease, whether you’re playing beach volleyball or lounging on the sand.

Left on Friday was on hand during SI Swimsuit events at the W South Beach for Miami Swim Week, and the brand even made an appearance during the runway show on Friday evening. Kamie Crawford strutted the catwalk in an incredible hot pink Barbiecore-inspired one-piece featuring a high-cut leg and medium bum coverage.

The brand also got models motivated on Saturday morning with a poolside workout. After the prior evening’s runway show, talent headed outdoors bright and early for some water aerobics, courtesy of Left on Friday. The premium active swimwear brand also gifted talent with mini towels and hats as the weekend came to a close.

Founders Shannon Savage and Laura Low Ah Kee created the brand with comfort and style in mind. An array of gorgeous hues are always on offer, including Left on Friday’s new riptide color, a stunning periwinkle.

“Within each design, we’ve used our years of design experience to ensure our straps stay put, our seams don’t rub, our suits don’t dig, and our fit makes you feel like a superhero,” Savage previously told SI Swimsuit of the brand’s products. “Our signature fabric was specifically designed for compression (when wet or dry), for smoothing coverage with a thick, buttery luxury hand, and to be super durable and easily cared for. You truly don’t have to worry about anything when you are in these suits.”
