Welcome to Mama Mantra Mondays with Sharina Gutierrez! Throughout the next five weeks, the 2024 SI Swimsuit rookie will lead a sound bath meditation focused on a specific mantra or affirmation to help center the mind and hone the energy for the week to come. By the end of January, you’ll have the tools necessary to help create the life you desire.

Sharina Gutierrez, co-winner of the 2023 Swim Search, is a firm believer in manifestation. Whether making her dream of being an SI Swimsuit rookie a reality or using the power of positive thought to improve her overall well-being, the Mama Mantra founder relies heavily on her practice.

“One of the things that has always helped me on this self-love journey was really getting to know myself and really getting to love who I am,” she explains. “And mantras and affirmations really helped me set a strong foundation inside of myself to understand that I am worthy enough and that I am capable.”

Using what she’s learned, Gutierrez is setting out to help others through her new series in partnership with SI Swimsuit, Mama Mantra Mondays.

Introducing Mama Mantra Mondays

In the coming weeks, the model and mom of three will guide viewers through brief sound bath meditations in order to unlock gratitude, create abundance, practice patience, envision success and, above all, approach everything from a place of love.

“I’ve really had to learn to believe in myself, and I feel like mantras are one of the reasons why I am here today and I’m capable of speaking this life and standing in this power because it’s actually been a tool that’s helped me manifest a lot of things in my life,” Gutierrez says. “From relieving anxiety and depression to manifesting and creating a life that I’ve always dreamt of. So these episodes are stepping stones on how to manifest a life that people deserve to live.”

Episode 1: Gratitude

Gutierrez believes that everything you manifest must come from a place of gratitude. Thus, her first episode guides viewers through a three-minute session on mantras centered around building that foundation.

“[Gratitude] should be the foundation of everything that you create,” she states. “Because if you’re not grateful for what you’re creating, then why create anything at all?”

Gutierrez describes each weekly session as a stepping stone in creating a solid foundation of creativity and consistency. With each, she hopes to help viewers build healthy habits as they step into the New Year.

“I’m hoping through Mama Mantra and our collaboration with SI Swimsuit to help people build, in those five weeks, a foundation of consistency, of showing up for yourself, of being able to have the tools to consistently build and not burn out,” she says. “... [As for] when it’s going to manifest, you just have to trust in divine timing.”

I am grateful / I am manifesting a life of gratitude / Everything that I create, I am grateful for / I am aware that gratitude is the foundation of everything I am manifesting in life / I am grateful to be alive / I am grateful to be alive / Gratitude is my best friend / I am grateful.”

Tune in next Monday, Jan. 8, as Gutierrez returns with her second episode, which focuses on how to create abundance.
