Melissa Wood-Tepperberg Takes Swimsuit Island by Storm with Unforgettable Packed Morning Workout
The final day of Swimsuit Island started in the most perfect way: a morning full-body flow with 2023 rookie Melissa Wood-Tepperberg.
The workout and wellness leader, who was featured in this year’s magazine for the first time, led fellow models, Swim Searchers and members of the SI swimsuit team in a 30-minute poolside Pilates session on bright yellow yoga mats at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Hollywood, Fla. After a night of partying, dancing and mingling in the VIP section of DAER nightclub, models grabbed a morning coffee, put on their cutest workout sets and tossed up their hair to get fit in the Florida sun.

We caught up with Wood-Tepperberg on Saturday afternoon to get a sneak peek at her session for the following day.
“I’m so excited,” the 40-year-old told SI Swimsuit. “I’m teaching tomorrow, and after talking to a lot of people here who are coming to the class and a few people who are a little nervous [about] doing it outside in the heat, I’m sticking with my OG [class], back to basics full-body flow, and we’re going to get right into it.”
The workout started with a grounding moment, followed by a yoga flow and some low-impact Pilates strength-building exercises.
The workout was followed by a second day of outdoor events at the Hard Rock Hollywood Pool. Guests with tickets were able to check out closet activations featuring pieces worn in this year’s magazine pulled by the SI Swimsuit fashion team.
The Beauty Bar was also open for guests to access quick treatments such as hairstyling, nail gems, sunless tanning products and Dibs Beauty samples.
