Back in the fall, we couldn’t stop talking about the color of the season. Red was in, that much was clear. With the holidays having only just come and gone, it’s safe to say that red is still in vogue, but the talk about it has certainly let up a bit.

The color might just have some staying power in the fashion lexicon following Olivia Culpo’s latest Instagram post. The model fully embraced the declared color of this past fall season, posing for a series of snaps in a bright red figure-hugging mini dress. She paired it with a deep red floor-length wool coat and a pair of red-tipped high heels. But the touch that made the outfit complete was the bright red lip that the SI Swimsuit model effortlessly rocked.

The former pageant queen posed in her vibrant outfit on a lush white couch and shaggy cream-colored carpet, showing off her stunning outfit.

"♥️ red + gold," she captioned the four photos, pointing to the beautiful gold bangle bracelet adorning her wrist.

“I meeeeean sheesh!!!!” former Swim Search finalist Kristen Louelle exclaimed.

“Love,” brand cover girl Brooks Nader added.

“RED is your color 🔥,” another wrote (and for the record, we totally agree).

“absolute smoooooke 🔥,” a fan gushed.

Culpo proved without a doubt that red is always the hue of the holiday season, regardless of trends. After all, you simply can’t go wrong with a statement-making pop of the color.
