We’re in the throes of high-fashion season yet again. Paris Fashion Week swept our timelines for the past week or so, and before long, New York Fashion Week will be back in business.

But even beyond these events, our favorite dressers are beginning to line their calendars with fashionable events for 2024, and the resulting style is nothing short of newsworthy.

For example, Filipina model and pageant queen Pia Wurtzbach just stepped out in a black gown that has us completely entranced. In an Instagram post that she shared on Jan. 26, the 34-year-old showed off all angles of the stunning garment. The long black figure-hugging gown featured a diamond pattern and a one-shoulder detail. While every part of it was exquisite, our favorite had to have been the cape that trailed from her shoulder down to the floor. It was nothing short of dramatic—in the best way possible. She paired it with black platform heels and a simple slicked-back hairdo. Plus, she kept her makeup simple and natural, allowing the dress the moment it deserved.

“First gown of the year 🖤,” Wurtzbach captioned the handful of photos.

“Soooooooo good!!” a fan gushed.

“Stunning,” another complimented.

“Absolutely gorgeous,” one follower wrote.

With more fashion week events approaching and a whole year of high-fashion events ahead, we’re sure it won’t be long before Wurtzbach’s style catches our eye again. She is, after all, a notoriously good dresser in our humble opinion.
