Solveig Hansen started modeling at the age of 14. Six years later, in 2015, she graced the pages of the SI Swimsuit issue, posing for a series of stunning photos in Walland, Tenn.

The model took part in the equestrian-inspired photoshoot with visual artist Ben Watts, posing on horseback amid a chic picnic set-up in the hills of rural Tennessee. The setting and aesthetics of the feature were fitting, given that she grew up on her parents’ horse farm in a small town in Denmark, according to her agency.

The 28-year-old has made a name for herself as a top Danish model in the swimwear industry, most recently working for companies such as Bec and Bridge, Fisch Swim and Hanne Bloch. Her recent jobs included photoshoots with brands Incanto Italy and Agent Provocateur.

In 2015, Hansen was one of a handful of rookies in the SI Swimsuit issue, vying for the coveted Rookie of the Year spot. Though Kelly Rohrbach won the title, Hansen certainly made the case for herself in her standout spread. The model absolutely stunned in the verdant and nature-inspired photoshoot in the mountainous countryside town of Walland, which is located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We’ve been reminiscing about that glorious golden photoshoot from eight years ago, and in that vein, we wanted to share our favorites from the occasion. Below are a handful of the stunning snaps from Hansen’s one-time feature in SI Swim.
