Alexa Ray Joel is a vision on stage and in front of the camera. The singer, who certainly picked up the modeling gene from her iconic mom, Christie Brinkley, posed for the 2017 SI Swimsuit Issue alongside the 10-time brand star, who is best known for her three consecutive cover appearances (in ’79, ’80 and ’81), and her half-sister, Sailor Brinkley Cook

The New York City native also picked up her musical talents from her father, legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel. He and Brinkley were married from 1985 to 1994.

The trio of powerful and stunning women were photographed by Emmanuelle Hauguel on the breathtaking beaches of Turks and Caicos, and we’re still not over the pics.

“It was definitely entertaining—a little bit of a reality TV moment,” Joel said while on location. “We all have our own style. And Sailor is kind of the young new little, perfect little, sporty little model. My mom is almost, I tease her, that she’s ADD in terms of how much energy she has. She literally can’t stop moving. And I’m still new at this and I was just trying to maintain my focus.”

She added in a heartfelt Instagram post after the 2017 magazine was released that her experience with the brand was a “lesson in learning to let go, take the plunge, and embrace myself from both the inside AND out.” Her goal moving forward was to pass along that knowledge of “unconditional self-love and self-respect to every woman who's willing to listen.”

Below are five gorgeous pics from her photoshoot in Turks and Caicos.
