Ashley Graham Nails the ‘Just Looking Like a Wow’ Viral Trend, ‘Ranveer Told Me to Do It’

The model recreated the popular clip while wearing a traditional sari during her recent trip to India.

The best part about viral social media trends is the universality of them: everyone from your friends to some of the biggest celebrities in the world love to recreate them. This is certainly true of the “just looking like a wow” trend that is sweeping the internet right now. The clip originated from a woman named Jasmeen Kaur, who took to Instagram Live to try to sell traditional Indian clothing from her store in New Delhi.

In one of the live events, she said the now-popular expression, “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow,” in reference to her own bright yellow-and-pink outfit.

The latest viral trend came just in time for American model Ashley Graham’s trip to Mumbai, where she attended the opening of the Jio World Plaza, a shopping and retail center in the city. The 36-year-old had the chance to don her very own sari for the event, a beautiful and delicate gold “handwoven Banarasi brocade sari by SWADESH, an artisan-forward initiative of the Reliance Foundation,” she wrote in an Instagram caption following the event.

But it was also the perfect chance to join the viral “just looking like a wow” trend. In another reel that she shared to her Instagram on Nov. 7, the model mouthed the words to the viral voice-over as she posed in her glamorous traditional gold sari.

@ranveersingh told me to do it!!! 🤣🫶🏽🇮🇳 just looking like a wow,” she captioned the hilarious—and very fitting—recreation, giving credit to her friend and actor Ranveer Singh for the idea.

“Hahahahahahahahahahahaha ! 🤣🤣🤣👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 made my day,” he replied in the comment section. We agree, as it made our day, too.
