Ashley Smith channeled sweet and flirty wild western vibes during her unique SI Swimsuit photoshoot along Route 66. The 2015 rookie worked with photographer Ben Morris and was captured in a series of moody and summery pics featuring funky one-pieces, printed bikinis and swimsuits with the coolest silhouettes.

Since then, the Texas native has been featured in Italian Vogue, on the cover of Playboy and worked as face of a Diesel fragrance campaign. She also created a capsule clothing line with RVCA.

Today, the 33-year-old is the founder of No Agency, a brand dedicated to representing “more muse and artist than model,” and also works as a DJ. She uses her platform to show off her creative side and behind the scenes snippets of various modeling campaigns.

“I honestly don’t think social media had anything to do with my success in the beginning, I was just good at my job, that’s why I succeeded. But I totally believe in Instagram as a tool. If used correctly, it can help someone’s business really take off,” Smith explained about how she grew her online following to 116,000. “I’m just myself on Instagram, that’s what works for me. Everyone is different. Personally, the people I want to follow are the ones doing something interesting and a little off the beaten path. Perfection bores me, but that’s just me.”

Below are five gorgeous photos of Smith, who is represented by the Les Filles Agency, on Route 66.
