Kansas City Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes was announced as SI Swimsuit’s newest 2024 rookie yesterday, and the initial images from her photo shoot in San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize, are truly jaw-dropping.

While the four photos that were released yesterday quickly went viral, we’ve got yet another treat for you: we’re sharing one more exclusive pic from the 28-year-old mom of two’s rookie feature, captured by Derek Kettela, below.

“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” Mahomes says of posing for the forthcoming 60th anniversary SI Swimsuit Issue. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”

The former college and pro soccer player is a fitness entrepreneur who uses her platform to advocate for other women to embrace self-love, confidence and authenticity.

“I think I align perfectly with SI Swimsuit’s vision because I am unapologetically always myself in any setting,” Mahomes adds. “I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself, and feel confident in whatever you do and I think SI Swimsuit does, too.”
