Brooklyn Decker Serves Sun-Kissed Goddess Energy in These 6 Photos From Her Cover Photoshoot in the Maldives
Brooklyn Decker is an SI Swimsuit veteran. The What to Expect When You’re Expecting star made her debut with the brand in 2006, when she won Rookie of the Year after her photoshoot with Tiziano Magni in Colombia. She returned for a total of six consecutive magazine appearances, and has modeled in exotic locations including Israel, Hawai’i, the British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines. The 36-year-old also double-dipped in 2009 for a jaw-dropping bodypaint feature with Rennio Manfredi and talented makeup artist Joanne Gair.
In 2010, the Gracie and Frankie actress landed the cover of the magazine after traveling to the Maldives with photographer Walter Iooss Jr. It was a colorful and breathtaking beach photoshoot to remember.
Today, Decker is married to former tennis pro Andy Roddick. The two, who tied the knot in 2009, share two children: daughter Stevie and son Hank. In 2017, she cofounded a wardrobe operating system app called Finery that tracks clothing purchases and even suggests new ideas.
“I’m constantly having to prove myself more than my contemporaries,” Decker revealed about switching from an entertainment and modeling career to entrepreneurship. “There’s a general skepticism I think that exists when you start as a model. I also think people feel freer to act as a puppeteer [with you] because that’s your past. And whether or not they are conscious of that, I’ve felt that projected upon me. I’ve had to work that much harder to prove that I deserve to be at the table.”

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
