Brooklyn Decker’s SI Swimsuit Cover Photo Shoot in the Maldives Is Beyond Beautiful

SI Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker made her debut with the magazine in 2006, when she won Rookie of the Year. That year’s photo shoot in Sacramento was Decker’s first major modeling gig and it really put her “on the map.” 

The Just Go With It actress posed for the magazine for a total of six consecutive appearances and landed the cover after her 2010 photoshoot with Walter Iooss Jr. in the Maldives. She later returned to the publication for her most recent feature in ’14.

“To be on the cover, even if someone doesn’t buy it, they’re gonna see your name, so even if they choose not to buy it... it’s just that instant face recognition,” the 36-year-old reflected. ”Sports Illustrated is one of the few clients that really puts a face with the name of the girls. They put profiles with the girls, they get you on camera, and it’s just they really want their readers to know who the models are. They want people to identify with them.”
