Gigi Hadid is the new face of Maybelline

Good news just keeps coming in for rookie Gigi Hadid.

Just last week, a little birdie told us that our girl might have something big in the works, and with her latest announcement as the new face of Maybelline New York, Gigi is (not-so) slowly but surely taking over the world.

In an exclusive interview with Vogue.com, Gigi shared how growing up, she wasn't allowed to wear makeup and her go-to secret stash consisted of just one precious product—Maybelline's SuperStay 24HR concealer from CVS. Now that the star can not only wear makeup but share it with the world, she plans to put to good use all the beauty tips she's learned on sets over the years.

"I pay attention to how every makeup artist does everything," Hadid said. "You have to try different things to see what you like best."

Gigi will follow in the footsteps of other SI Swimsuit models who work with Maybelline, like Emily DiDonato, Marloes Horst, and Jessica White.

With her first ads set to come out in October, the wait will be worth your while, because this 19-year-old California beauty has only just begun a beautiful and blossoming career.
