Imagine taking Kate Upton to your senior prom? That's what California native Jake Davidson is trying to do with this video plea to the SI Swimsuit model. So far, the video has been viewed by over 150,000 people, including Upton herself, who responded that she'll check her schedule. While the Twitter universe anxiously awaits Upton's response, SwimDaily caught up with Jake to discuss the viral video and his life as an internet celebrity.

SwimDaily: Tell me about yourself: Where are you from? How old are you? How would you describe your "game" with the ladies?

Jake Davidson: I am 17 from Sherman Oaks, Calif. and I would say my game is decent. I'm no LeBron James, but definitely not a Brian Scalabrine either. I would be a solid role player like an Earl Clark.

SD: What convinced you to do this video?

JD: I thought with the slightest chance that it could reach her I had to try.

SD: Why did you choose Kate Upton as your dream date?

JD: The most beautiful and coolest girl in the world, plus that last SI cover was pretty sick. She braved through some rough conditions.

SD: What reaction were you expecting when you posted the video?

JD: I wasn't expecting anything, just hoping for the best.

SD: What news outlets have reached out to you since the video went viral?

JD: Fox News, SI, CNN, NBC, KTLA, Huffington Post, Milken Roar, Celeb Buzz, Pop Sugar

SD: What do your parents think?

JD: They are happy I am pursuing a dream. Not enthralled with the shower scene.

SD: How have kids in your school reacted?

JD: They have been so supportive sharing it and everything, I am so appreciative.

SD: Has this increased your success with the ladies in your school/town?

JD: Yet to test it out, currently my heart belongs to Kate only.

SD: Do you have a backup plan if Kate can't come to the prom? Perhaps another SI Swimsuit model caught your eye?

JD: Not yet, I like to put all my eggs in one basket and then deal with the repercussions later.

SD: Will this go on your college application?

JD: Absolutely!
