Nicole Williams English Shares BTS Video of Interviewing Fellow Models on SI Red Carpet

The 2023 SI Swim rookie stole the show on the Miami Swim Week red carpet.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Nicole Williams English really can do it all. The 35-year-old made her SI Swimsuit debut in Dominica in 2023 while seven months pregnant, becoming only the second pregnant model to grace the pages of the issue.

But on top of all of that, the new mother has a knack for hosting red carpets. During the Miami Swim Week red carpet event at the W Hotel Miami Beach, Williams English took the reins, taking the chance to interview several of her fellow models as they walked the red carpet and posed for photos.

The model was stunning in a mesh striped gown for the event, and stood at the end of the carpet to post questions to those passing. She posted a sweet behind-the-scenes montage video of the experience to her Instagram on Aug. 17, featuring conversations with Ellie Thumann, Brooks Nader and even our very own Editor-in-Chief, MJ Day.

"Not me hosting the Sports Illustrated red carpet. Somebody pinch me!! 🤯,” she wrote in the caption of the post that she shared with her 2.3 million followers.

“It is a dream of mine to host and it has taken a back seat in my career for many years. I love any opportunity to push myself, test my skills, and see how far I can go. I’m not going to lie though, I get super nervous public speaking and I shake horribly!! But when I am able to be myself without a script, I feel free!” Williams English continued sentimentally.

"You are literally making dreams come true. You made my dreams come true,” the swimwear designer said in conversation with Day.

Her conversation with the SI Swimsuit editor even featured a surprise visit from her baby, India Moon English, who accompanied her husband Larry English on the red carpet.
