Olivia Dunne Celebrates SI Swim Rookie Status With a Cookie Cake

The LSU gymnast will return to the fold for the 60th anniversary issue next May.

LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne is returning to the pages of SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary edition next year! We could’t be more excited to introduce the NCAA star as a rookie, and the first pics from her photoshoot are absolutely breathtaking.

The model, who was included in this year’s issue after her photoshoot in Puerto Rico with Ben Watts, was captured in Porto and the North of Portugal for her rookie feature. The 21-year-old has since been teasing the news and a stunning sneak peek series of pics with her Instagram followers. And in true celebratory fashion, an exciting milestone like this called for some sweet treats. Dunne showed off a scrumptious cookie cake that read “Rookie” in pink frosting with her 4.5 million followers on Dec. 3.

“a rookie & a cookie,” she captioned the photo carousel and included the most beautiful pic from her rookie feature as the cover image. The New Jersey native wore a textured white triangle bikini top by Ola Vida and showed off her soft smile to the camera.

Several fellow SI Swimsuit models chimed in to the comment section to leave sweet notes celebrating Dunne’s rookie year.

“you are a princess,” Olivia Ponton wrote.

“I wish I could like this 1900 times!!!!!” Katie Austin added.

“The cutest rookie in history!!!!!!,” Christen Harper declared.

“Beautyyyyy,” Alix Earle complimented.

“So gorgeous!!! Congrats!🎉,” Katie Feeney exclaimed.

“Best ever she deserves everything she has. She has worked so hard for what she has and she is a great inspiration for young women!! Geaux livvy,” one fan gushed.

The Livvy Fund creator has built her social media platforms to more than 12.2 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, in addition to being the highest-paid female college athlete in the country.
