Fellow SI Swim Models Cheer on Rookie of the Year Nicole Williams English

The model and mom just landed a major title and has a wonderful support system rooting for her.

When Nicole Williams English was revealed as SI Swimsuit’s 2023 Rookie of the Year, fellow brand stars immediately rallied around the model and mom to share in her excitement.  

On Saturday night, members of the SI Swimsuit team delivered the incredible news directly to Williams English while on location in Mexico at the Kempinski Hotel Cancún for her photoshoot for next year’s 60th anniversary issue. When the announcement hit social media shortly thereafter on the brand’s official Instagram page, her peers were overjoyed and quickly chimed in to the comments.

“THATS MY GIRL!!!!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” cheered friend and fellow SI Swimsuit model Kamie Crawford.

“YAYAYYAYAYAAYYAYA,” 2023 cover model Brooks Nader wrote.

“F YEAHHHH SHE IS👏👏,” 2022 co-Rookie of the Year Katie Austin applauded.

“the most deserved ❤️❤️❤️,” fellow rookie Sixtine added.

The next day, Williams English shared her own post on her personal Instagram account. In a carousel of pics, she held up her Rookie of the Year trophy, posed alongside editor in chief MJ Day and celebrated with members of the magazine’s team.

“2023 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!! SCREAMING!!” Williams English wrote in her caption. “I am still in complete shock over this surprise!! This is a true example of what happens when you NEVER give up on your dreams! I love you @si_swimsuit @mj_day and the entire team I call family!! This is such an honor and biggest dream come true! 💖.”

“So proud of you!!!” Swim Search co-winner Sharina Gutierrez commented.
