We Can’t Get Over These 6 Photos of Hunter McGrady in Costa Rica

The model’s third SI Swimsuit appearance was definitely one for the books.

SI Swimsuit model Hunter McGrady traveled to Costa Rica in 2019 with photographer James Macari to explore the beautiful, vibrant country while posing for a series of wonderful photos. It was her third consecutive feature in the issue, having first joined the brand in Anguilla in 2017. She used the opportunity to put both her inner and outer beauty on display.

In various neon and metallic swimsuits, the now 30-year-old posed before Macari’s lens for snaps that have made a lasting impression on us. The California native began her modeling career at 15, and these days, McGrady continues to model for various brands, having returned to the set of the SI Swimsuit Issue as recently as last year. In addition to her work in the industry, McGrady shares to young children, a son and a daughter, with her husband, Brian Keys.

She continues to be an advocate for body diversity in the modeling industry and beyond, an impressive mission that she has undertaken since very early on in her career. This includes social media posts sharing thoughts regarding her body evolution over time, her experience with motherhood and her journey to self-acceptance.

Though all of her photoshoots with SI Swimsuit have been amazing (and choosing our favorite is more than impossible), today we’re throwing it back to her 2019 trip to Costa Rica—and dreaming of warmer weather while we’re at it. Here are some of our favorites from the trip, in which McGrady posed beachside while in the Central American country.
