We Still Aren’t Over Nicole Williams English’s Photoshoot in Dominica

The model and swimwear designer has graciously shared her pregnancy and motherhood journey with SI Swim.

For 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie Nicole Williams English, her debut photoshoot doubled as the ultimate pregnancy photoshoot. In a historic move, the model and entrepreneur became only the second visibly pregnant model to grace the pages of the annual issue.

English, who is married to former NFL player Larry English, traveled to Dominica with photographer Yu Tsai and the SI Swim team for her epic shoot. The moment was significant because of its historical nature, but also because it was just another step in the 39-year-old’s pregnancy journey with SI Swim. 

She first announced her pregnancy while walking the SI Swim runway at the 2022 Miami Swim Week, a moved that she followed up with the iconic photoshoot at seven months pregnant. She brought it all full circle when she walked the 2023 Miami Swim Week runway with her daughter India Moon, who was born in January 2023, on her hip, sporting a tiny swimsuit to match her mother’s.

The mother-of-one adjusted quickly to her new reality and has thoroughly enjoyed the last 10 months with her newest addition, sharing photos and videos along the way. Most recently, the couple took India Moon “on her first Halloween adventure,” reveling in watching their daughter experience things for the first time.

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
