Brooks Nader’s 12 Best Looks of 2023 (Thus Far)
While there are still two months left in the year, it has been an incredible 10 months of fashion thus far—particularly if you’re Brooks Nader. The 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star has had nothing but fashion-forward moments, from premiere events to her everyday street style. Nader’s impeccable aesthetic might change a bit based on her mood or the occasion, but one thing remains the same: she has an incredible sense of style.
Nader has been part of the SI Swimsuit family since she won the brand’s Swim Search in 2019. She’s returned to the fold each year since her open casting call victory, and has traveled to the Bahamas, Bali, Hollywood, Fla., Montenegro and the Dominican Republic thus far.
It was certainly tough to narrow down, but below, we’ve gathered a dozen of our favorite looks the Louisiana native has sported throughout the calendar year so far.
Barbiecore power suit
For a New York Fashion Week event in February, Nader donned a hot pink Nadine Merabi power suit. And while the three-piece designer garment features a bra top, matching blazer and wide-leg trousers, Nader opted to go bold and braless with nothing underneath the jacket.
Three-dimensional florals
It’s no surprise that in February, Nader was spotted on the streets of New York City in an aesthetic that’s being predicted as a major trend for next spring and summer. The model wore a dazzling sequined copper gown with floral appliqué detailing on the bust, which she expertly paired with gold metallic platform heels.
Classy sheer black dress
The sheer dress has been a major trend this year, and Nader’s take was a stunning, yet ladylike take. She paired her see-through L’AGENCE dress with high-leg black briefs underneath and a black corset belt by Déhanche over top. Pointed-toe Prada pumps and an elegant bag completed this incredible look.
Royalty at the Academy Awards
Let us all take a moment to truly appreciate this incredible open back gown by LaQuan Smith, which Nader wore to walk the red carpet at the 95th Academy Awards in March. The purple sparkly look was styled by SI Swimsuit’s fashion editor, Margot Zamet.
Legs for days in a white mini
Another incredible ensemble styled by Zamet, Nader wore this strapless white mini dress with a deep sweetheart neckline and platform peep-toe heels to the global premiere of Citadel in April. “We loved how leggy and feminine the look was and gave it a little edge with statement silver jewelry from Alexis Bitar and Louis Abel,” Zamet noted.
Cover girl moment
It would be simply impossible to highlight Nader’s best looks of the year without calling out her 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue cover look. In the striking image, she modeled a red one-piece swimsuit by Matthew Bruch, accessorized with geometric black-and-white bracelets by Noir provided by New York Vintage, and oversized gold earrings by Electric Picks x Brooks Nader.
A vision in teal
For the magazine’s red carpet launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City in May, Nader turned heads in a bright teal one-shoulder dress from Monique Lhuillier. Zamet styled the look with sparkly silver Stuart Weitzman platform heels.
Another stunning sheer garment
Only Nader could pull off this edgy hooded jumpsuit with an ultra-plunging neckline. The model wore it to the Kim Petras concert at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Hollywood, Fla., during launch weekend events.
Designer business attire
Who says workwear has to be boring? Clearly not Nader, who wore this absolutely stunning cropped yellow blazer and black mini skirt by Dolce & Gabbana in Los Angeles in August. Yet another extraordinary look styled by Zamet, the model accessorized with black sunglasses and strappy heels.
Banging for New York Fashion Week
Nader tested out bangs to attend the Retrofête fashion show during NYFW on Sept. 11, and all we have to say is that we fully approve. The model paired her temporary fringe with a strapless silver mini dress by the designer, again styled by Zamet. Have we mentioned that the two make an incredible pair?
Lingerie-inspired Paris Fashion Week aesthetic
While in the City of Light for PFW, Nader opted for a lingerie-inspired look consisting of a black bra and high-waisted Dolce & Gabbana panties with an oversized black blazer on top. Sheer black stockings, strappy stilettos and a small square purse completed the outfit.
Elevated LDB
Nader recently proved that a little black dress is anything but basic. She wore this sheer, lacy black mini dress to a Variety party last month. The long-sleeved Ronny Kobo mini featured flattering side cut-outs that perfectly showed off the model’s trim waistline.
