11 Photos of the Beautiful and Talented Jasmine Sanders in Florida

The five-time SI Swimsuit model made a statement on the beaches of Tampa in 2021.

Jasmine Sanders is no stranger to the set of an SI Swimsuit photoshoot. Beginning in 2019, the American model has made five consecutive appearances in the annual issue. While each one has been special in its own way, particularly her 2020 cover feature, today we’re taking the chance to look back on her 2021 trip to Tampa, Fla., with photographer Yu Tsai.

The feature produced an incredible series of sunlight-laden photos on the beach, which wouldn’t have been possible without the talent and energy of Sanders or the photography skills of Yu Tsai. The Golden Barbie, as she’s known on social media, recognized the trip as the ultimate collaboration.

“I am having the most amazing day today,” she gushed while on set. “Yu Tsai is just giving me so much good energy back that I feel like I’m [nailing] the shoot. So hopefully everything’s translating exactly the same.”

Sanders didn’t need to worry about the energy translating into the final photos—it absolutely did. Her excitement, which prevented her from sleeping much the night before, clearly came across in the stunning snapshots.

“I was so excited and just pumped all night that I was ready to get out of bed every second,” she explained. “The second I got up, I did a couple affirmations, I did a little meditating and just tried to calm down and wind down as much as I could.”

Her preparations did the trick, and Sanders’s time in Tampa was well-spent. Below are 11 incredible photos from the trip.

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
