She followed up her 2018 debut with another—and just as stunning—appearance in 2021.

When Allie Ayers became a finalist for the 2018 Swim Search, SI Swimsuit’s annual open casting call, she headed to the beaches of Belize for her photoshoot. It was a dream come true moment, and one that she was destined to repeat.

She returned to the SI Swimsuit set in 2021, posing again as a finalist for that year’s Swim Search competition. Rather than some far-flung tropical photoshoot, though, this time the model stunned much closer to home. Alongside the other finalists and photographer Yu Tsai, she traveled to Atlantic City for a second—and equally stunning—photoshoot on the beaches of the East Coast.

“A twice in a lifetime opportunity, as it turns out,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “I’ve been selected as a finalist for the @si_swimsuit search!!!! And, wow. I am so, so grateful. To get to experience the Swim Search journey for a second time.  To have been included in the same sentences as the beautiful people that make up the Swim Search community. To, maybe, get to encourage another person to just go for it when their big, scary dreams feel too far to touch. Here we go again. I can’t wait for this ride.”

Like her debut, her sophomore photoshoot fulfilled a dream of hers. And, with that message, she hoped to inspire others to reach for their own goals and make them a reality. She certainly did just that.
