Spend 24 Hours With Josephine Skriver

The SI Swimsuit rookie gives us a look into her day-to-day life.

Ever wonder what 24 hours in the life of a supermodel entails? Well, then, you're in luck! We asked our models to give us the inside scoop on what a typical day in the life looks like for them. If you missed Camille Kostek’s report last week, check it out. Up next, we have 2020 rookie Josephine Skriver. The current Nashville resident gives us an inside look at her life at home in the gallery below!

The first thing I do when I wake up is sweat. Nothing starts a day off like getting a great workout in. My favorite companion lately has been my Hydrow row machine. It always gets me ready to conquer the upcoming day.

We recently got a basketball hoop in our driveway. I’ve been working on my jumpshot for a few months now. Anyone want to challenge me to a game of H-O-R-S-E?!

After my workouts and cardio, I head inside to wash up and get ready for the day. I love a hot steam shower and a face mask to get my skin glowing. Every day should feel like a spa day for yourself. Treat yourself and get that confidence and serenity up!

One of my favorite morning meals is yogurt with a variety of fruits, granola, and grains. It's healthy, guilt-free, and most importantly... DELICIOUS. Today's yogurt had banana, honey, almonds and raisins.

Usually while I eat breakfast I will call my mom back in Denmark to hear about her day and to tell her how much I love her. The time difference works perfectly as when I am waking up she is usually getting off work.

After breakfast, I am off to be a mom to two baby kittens. I adopted them a few months back and nothing puts me in a better mood than spending a few minutes playing with them, feeding them and watching them wrestle with each other. One of the kittens is a male, the other is a female. That is my little princess, Yuji. She tries her best to be elegant but goes through her bouts of being clumsy, feisty and wild. I guess she is a little bit like me!

For lunch today I made brown rice with scrambled eggs and soy sauce. I know it sounds simple, but it is one of my favorite meals. I discovered it while traveling through Asia and had no idea something so easy could be so good.

I recently discovered a game called Binho. In a way it is kind of like finger soccer. I challenge everyone who comes over to a match and it's a good way to kill an hour or two, especially when you're spending a lot of time in the house.

2020 has been a wild and unique year so we have had a lot more time in our home and indoors. We have a pretty competitive household so after Binho I go straight to our Raider Room in my Raiders gear to play some foosball to show off whatever skills I learned growing up playing in Denmark at summer camp.

We can get lost playing games and laughing for hours so dinner can sneak up on you really quick. I wanted to keep dinner light and healthy so I made a mixed green salad with chicken, avocado, olives and cherry tomatoes.

After dinner I like to cool off by sipping on a nice neat bourbon. Tennessee and Kentucky are known for making some of the best whiskeys and bourbons in the world. Since the SI Swimsuit Issue came out I decided to open up something special for the occasion. My Pappy Van Winkle 15 year by Buffalo Trace Distillery.

After the post-dinner bourbon.. the party starts!! Here in Nashville we love nothing more than blasting some music and having drinks out on the deck. There is a lot of nature around us so being under the trees, on a warm summer night, with a cold drink is one of the best American experiences you can have! I have learned a lot since coming here from Copenhagen. Red solo cups don't exist where I am from!

My inner nerd always comes out at one point or another. My new obsession is my Oculus Quest which I play for hours late at night while everyone else sleeps. I like to get lost in another world and it wears me out so I am ready to fall into bed and do it all again tomorrow.
