It’s a new year, and Alex Aust is returning to her old ways. Maybe that wouldn’t always be a good thing, but in this case, it sure is.

The 2021 Swim Search finalist jokingly insinuated on social media that she will be making a return to the days of consistently posting tropical swimwear photos on social media.

The former Division I lacrosse player and current professional athlete rang in the start of January with a warm-weather getaway in Vero Beach, Fla. The trip has her convinced that bringing bikini pics back to the feed is the way to go, and we won’t be the ones to disagree with the Virginia native.

Aust shared the message alongside a trio of stunning oceanfront photos from her vacation. She posed on a small balcony that fronted the beach and looked out on the beautiful ocean in a chic striped string bikini.

“Y’all remember when I used to post bikini pics like every day lol welp here we are☀️🌊👙🤣,” she humorously captioned the handful of photos.

”I remember 😂😂😂😂,” fellow 2021 Swim Search finalist Natalie Gage quipped.

“She’s hot!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Summer Wilson, another 2021 SI Swim Search finalist, exclaimed.

“Here for it,” another follower said of Aust’s declaration.

“😍,” her husband, fellow pro lacrosse player Marcus Holman, gushed.

We’re in agreement with her followers: the bikini snaps are never a bad idea. And neither is a tropical vacation. So far, Aust is doing 2024 right.
