Alex Morgan Glistens in These 7 Fabulous Photos From Guana Island

Though somewhat ‘demanding,’ the professional athlete had a blast during her second SI Swimsuit photoshoot.

USWNT member Alex Morgan was “super excited” at the prospect of returning to the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2014. The feature, which took her to Guana Island in the British Virgin Islands, came two years after her debut with the magazine.

Of the 14 swimsuits that the model wore during the trip and the countless stunning photos that she posed for, her most beloved one was a no-brainer. “My favorite suit and shot in general was on the rocks with the water coming off the rocks,” she said while on set. “It just all went together so well. It was right after sunrise, as well, so the sun was just perfect.”

Though not “totally used to” photoshoots at the time, she certainly rocked hers. Morgan attributed part of that success to the familial nature of the SI Swimsuit team. “Because everyone has worked together for so long, they’re all on the same page,” she explained.

While certainly “demanding,” SI Swimsuit photoshoots are also “so fun and so worth it once you see the shots,” she said. These photos of Morgan from the Caribbean, in particular, were certainly worth any challenge. While we can’t choose all-time favorites, here are a few of the ones that we really loved from the trip.
