Anitta Channeled Superstar Energy During Glamorous SI Swim Shoot in Florida

The Brazilian singer nailed her 2021 feature with the magazine.

Brazilian singer Anitta took her fierce pop star energy from the stage to the beaches during her SI Swimsuit feature in 2021. The onetime Grammy-nominated artist, who broke Spotify’s record for the first solo Latin song to top the Global Daily chart and earned a Guinness World Record, traveled to Hollywood, Fla., for her shoot with photographer James Macari. She donned the most gorgeous edgy bikinis and one-pieces that were the perfect blend of metallics, sparkles and solids and matched her glitz and glam personal aesthetic. 

“I love to show that I can be versatile. Since I was a little girl, I’m not just one type of person. You know, sometimes I’m crazy, sometimes I’m serious, sometimes I’m sexy, sometimes I’m romantic,” she said in an Instagram post shared on SI Swimsuit’s account at the time. “Not even myself can understand myself sometimes. The message is always learning. I think sometimes people are too stuck on things they got and I think it’s a problem when people are too worried about their image in front of other people because they are too worried about what other people will think and not what you want to do and you don’t need to make sense.”

While the 30-year-old is used to delivering show-stopping performances for sold-out crowds, posing in swimwear for an iconic magazine was out of her comfort zone—nevertheless, she conquered it fearlessly and truly blew us away.
