Anne de Paula Displays Inner and Outer Beauty During Her SI Swimsuit Photo Shoot in the Dominican Republic

Brazilian model Anne de Paula is a four-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. In other words, she’s no stranger to the set of a brand photo shoot. She made her debut back in 2017, which she followed up with three consecutive features with the brand.

Her most recent, a trip to the Dominican Republic in 2020 with photographer Kate Powers, was nothing short of brilliant—a real testament to her skill in front of the lens.

She posed in a series of deep-toned bathing suits on the beach and in the bright waters of the idyllic oceanfront location. While there, she took the chance to reflect on the idea of beauty. “Everything makes a person beautiful,” she said of her notion of beauty. “It’s not the way the person looks.”

The model is of the opinion that everyone should feel confident in themselves—that everyone should feel beautiful “when they wake up.” She finds that “the whole concept of SI,” which really pushes models to be themselves in front of the camera, promotes this notion of self-confidence and self-assurance.

The brand strives to put model’s personalities on display, something that de Paula really appreciates. It’s not just about appearance, it’s about everything else that makes these talented women who they are. The model got a chance to display her very bubbly personality in each and every one of her features.
