Anne Hathaway has been securing her spot as a fashionista over the past few years. From stunning red carpet looks to jaw-dropping haute couture fashion week ensembles, the actress truly never misses.

The Devil Wears Prada star showed off her silly side in a recent Instagram post, sharing with the world her stunning ruby red Versace gown while demonstrating how difficult it was to sit in it. She handled it like a champ, though. After all, beauty is pain, a notion to which we’re sure Miranda Priestly would agree.

The 41-year-old flaunted her slim figure and toned arms in the shiny leather number, featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline and a super cinched corseted bodice with layered waist detail.

Hathaway, who often wears pieces from the luxury fashion house and has built a friendship with Donatella Versace herself, posed with the designer in her cover snap and included a video as the next slide.

“I just want to respect the integrity of the corset,” she said with a laugh as she sat on a couch unable to move much. The New York native attempted to sit upright and struggled a bit, shifting her weight on her side and leaning off the couch. Hathaway and Donatella could not stop laughing.

“Breathing? 😎Sitting? 🙃😂 love you @donatella_versace,” she captioned the carousel that she shared with her 32 million followers.

The Les Misérables actress completed the look with sultry and smoky glam, tousled waves in her brown locks, a black purse, gold bangles and shiny red pointed-toe heels.
